Honda Recalls over 1 million cars

Honda has announced  a widespread

recall of vehicles which spans over 1 million different models.

This recall models includes;

  • Acura Integra
  • Honda CR-V
  • Honda HR-V
  • Entire Civic line up

The affected models are those produced between 2023 to 2024.

The recall became necessary following a discovery that the gear box  worm wheel (a gear within the gear wheel) has the potential of swelling and causing an increased load on the steering.

Honda has notified dealers of the recall and would be sending out letters of notification to owners from 18th of November.

Affected owners are to meet local honda dealers closest to them to have the worm gear spring replaced with better improved ones.
