MAZDA RECALLS 2024 CX-90

Mazda has announced that they would be recalling the 2024 model of the CX-90. This recall is as a result of a potential fault in the vehicle forward collision warning system.

This issue occurs when driving at low speed between 10-15 Mph. The smart brake system falsely detects an obstacle in the vehicle path activating the brake suddenly.

It has been discovered that the Vehicle sees reflections of cars on the road and other large metals by the roadside as obstacles and activates the brakes automatically.

This glitch in the vehicle system has the potential of causing crash on the road.

All affected owners are to be contacted by Mazda via email, and would be required to take the car to a dealer where it would be updated with the latest software free of charge. The update to the software is expected to resolve this issue.

The email is expected to be sent to all affected owners before July 17 2024.
